This was part of my own project for the Etsy shop I run on the side. After losing my grandmother rather suddenly I found myself the owner of a great deal of dollhouse miniatures. Since neither I nor anyone in my family is a dollhouse maker I thought that the best way to pass these miniatures to someone who would love them was to open an Etsy shop. I'd never really done miniature or macro photography but I found that I love the simplicity of it. Being able to set up a little studio in my own basement was a refreshing change from climbing mountains for shots. As my inventory changes and grows I look forward to photographing new things for listing.
